Dylan Forsberg ran away from his hometown, Portsmouth, NH, when he was 18. His bike trip from there to North Carolina, with a couple of bucks in his pocket and a tarp, was the beginning of an eight-year adventure that he is still on.

He has hitchhiked across the country, tried most every mind-altering substance he could get his hands on (which is why he was on the cover of this magazine?) and has carried his camera all along the way.

Forsberg recently founded Transmission, a free biannual NY based print publication that "focuses on art in the outskirts of fashion." Dylan graciously shared outtakes from Transmissions' upcoming issue: a shoot in Chinatown with the infamous Hanne Gaby Odiele and a twice-exposed rooftop shoot with Elyse Saunders.
