Uh, what time were you there? I live in DC now, but I used to have to go to Union Square once a week when I lived there to drop off legal documents for work... and I KNOW there is a Whole Foods there and it's always crowded as fuck and there are always kids skateboarding. This has to be like, really fucking early.
