I saw the whole series installed at the Hirshhorn, and it was really powerful and beautiful. Highly recommended.
That was a great exhibit! Best thing I've seen at the Hirshhorn in quite some time.
Right? It was almost hypnotic, that installation, and finally something that the Hirshhorn's circular shape was good for. I never thought a Warhol exhibition could be so contemplative and serene, and even subtle.
If you mixed it with Thor Carlson, you'd be mixing opposing visions.
Yeah, and sometimes that's a good thing, but in this case...
I'd rather count the wrinkles on my dogs balls.
to be fair, you both LOVE doing that
I'd rather you did that too.
Take them out of your mouth first for a more precise count.
Thor Carlson, who is currently dead, hated Warhol (also currently dead). They worked in the same commercial-art department.
Thor could see that Warhol was a HACK!
And then everything else happened.
I kinda like the simplicity and clarity that Warhol imparted.
Well done.
He just keeps making better and better work. What a talent. Can't wait to see what he puts out next season.
no one bit, but I gave you a star for the effort.
