New Yorkers gathered this afternoon in front of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation to protest Russia's continued aggression towards the LGBT community.

Representatives from Boxers NYC, a family of gay bars in NYC, reaffirmed their commitment to support the Russian LGBT community by removing Stoli and all Russian made products from its shelves—there was a 'Vodka Dump' and lots of chanting but the only people from inside the Consulate that seemed to pay any attention were the construction guys on the top floor of the building.

I'd probably err or NO signs using movie/cartoon characters as allusions. I think they are lazy and clumsy.

There's something oxymoronic about that phrase.

Also, although there's arguably both mythological and historical precedent for a ruler's surrender to pudendal splendor, I'm unaware of any for similar condescension to the immature whims of a riotous gaggle of quims.

Even still it had to be purchased at some point. The bar is only sacrificing its own revenue but Stoli and RS have already got their pay check.
