Sunday is the day of the Lord—the night, on the other hand, belongs to party people.

The Paris Review had a party last night celebrating the publication of its winter issue. Their parties are always fun—they have a great office with amazing art on the walls, guests always drink too much, there are books everywhere, but they let people smoke inside and I still smell like cigarettes.

Last night, Aaron Hicklin, Editor-in-Chief of Out Magazine (above), and a couple hundred other people celebrated this years OUT100 list. Blondie gave a stellar performance, Mariah Carey, unfortunately did not sing, and there were two people with a rare skin disease in attendance.

Full disclosure: 1. I love the work that Creative Time does. It is important, at times irreverent, and always forward thinking. If you have money to give away, give them some. 2. I have an intellectual crush on Creative Time's President and Creative Director, Anne Pasternak (pictured above). She is smart, fiercely independent, widely respected, and she had on an awesome jacket last night. That being said, last night Creative Time had its Fall Ball and it was not very creative.

DJ Lina Bradford is unquestionably THE Queen of Fire Island. Thursday through Sunday nights, Lina brings down the house at The Sip N' Twirl with her old school hits and her new school looks.

Susanne Bartsch is a New York City nightlife legend. She has been hosting her legendary, over-the-top parties since the late 1980's and last night at Marquee was no different.

Last night marked the official launch of Dodge & Burn, with a steamy launch party hosted on Gawker HQ's rooftop. There were 100 pizzas, 400 fabulous people, 3 bathrooms, 2 bars, 1 projector and a 30 minute wait to get in—it was a grand ol' time.

President Obama hosted hundreds of members of the LGBT community and their straight allies at the White House yesterday afternoon for a celebration of Pride Month. There was no glitter, or go-go boys, and given that there was no mention of the executive order on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), we were surprised that there were no hecklers either.
